Over my time as a boudoir photographer I’ve grown to love specific poses and have found that my clients love them just as much as I do! So i thought I would share them with potentially clients and anyone else who may be curious.
#1 From the floor, dark and moody nude scapes with back lighting
This exact pose is ALWAYS a favorite no matter who I do it for! EVERYONE and anyone can typically slay this pose and it’s almost always one of the session favorites for my clients too. This is also a funny one on the client end because I literally lay on the floor, scoot under beds, move furniture, etc. to get that perfect shot.
#2 The top down booty arch
Now the top down booty arch (Or TDBA for short) is a super universal pose because it looks good at legit every angle and can be done on so many surfaces. In this pose I have clients put their knees up on an elevated surface (chair, couch, bed, or in this case a piano bench) and then they go down to floor, holding themselves up on their elbows while extending the shoulders and their back. I also demonstrate this because there is NO elegant way to get in and out of this pose, even with practice lol.
#3 The Ice cube chest photo
These faux ice cubes should be in literally EVERY photographers bag and you can’t convince me otherwise. These add such stunning variety to my photoshoots and It’s something I absolutely love on everyone! Don’t forget to keep a spray bottle handy though or they won’t look like they belong there lol.
#4 The bent over booty shot
While similar to #1 this one is just a booty close up and usually has more details where #1 is more of a silhouette and at a specific angle, regardless though they’re both client favorites a lot of the time! Just remember THESE ones can me done bent over or bent on ANYTHING.
#5 The leg cross over pose
This is another pose that I love at multiple angles and that works on many surfaces. Literally all you need is a wall and It looks stunning with MANY different body types too.
How tf are you even a photographer. These look like shit.
Well, art is subjective and my clients LOVE my work and their images. I got to where I am today because people like my work enough to pay for it but thank you for your feedback. If you don’t like it there are plenty of other photographers out there that I’m sure are more to your liking. have a wonderful day!
